Human rights due diligence of the ALDI SOUTH Group
January 2019

The ALDI SOUTH Group publishes a declaration of principles concerning the protection of human rights

As part of our human rights due diligence, we published a declaration of principles concerning the protection of human rights in October last year. Our declaration describes how we intend to prevent human rights violations and improve the protection of human rights throughout our supply chains in the future by implementing additional measures. This declaration of principles reaffirms and takes our commitment regarding the protection and promotion of human rights to the next level.

In 2010, we had already defined our company's CR Principles as a binding framework for us and all our business partners. The ALDI 'Social Standards in Production' are an essential part of all cooperation with our suppliers. They define our commitment to humane and fair working conditions as well as our expectations regarding social and working conditions and the protection of human rights throughout all manufacturing processes implemented for our products.
